It’s Almost Here!!!

Our internet I mean!!!!

I know I am obsessing over the internet but I have been missing it oh so much. I have a laundry list of things I want to talk about on the blog once we get back up and running, so excited! I’m hoping since I’ll most likely be a homebody thru the months of November- March (since I live in Wisconsin, ya know) I will be able to do some major work on this here bloggy.

Anywho, this past weekend we went to our last wedding of 2011. Finally.

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some weddings but I need a few weekends without traveling, moving, entertaining, etc. I’m hoping to hit up the Farmer’s Market this weekend (the last one, sniff!) and just do some relaxing and organizing. Yep on Halloween weekend. I can’t help it I’m so cool

Not much else has been going on except trying Body Pump for the first time (success!) & work. Gotta jet!

P.S. Does anyone have a Mac and use Ecto? I love my Mac but using WordPress to blog is slowly crushing my soul.

Your Weekly Update

Hi friends! Yep, once a week postings will have to do until November 3rd. I truly, deeply, madly (Savage Garden anyone?) miss having internet at home. It is SUCH  a luxury. One of my “I’m thankful for” for Thanksgiving will most definitely be internet. Shallow, yes but it’s the truth. I’m even kind of missing cable now, but not as much as internet.

As I type this I am sitting in the Starbucks parking lot (classy) because I don’t want to buy a drink. Not that I don’t love my beloved Starbucks, but…when I use their internet often well…I can’t just be forking over my paycheck. Sorry ‘bucks.

Anywho, let’s see…what’s new.

Went to my first Zumba class and OMG loved it! So much fun. So my kind of dancing & tunes. I wasn’t able to go this week yet because I went to a dinner for Ryan’s work but I will be going back for sure!

This past weekend my bridesmaid came up to help me look for THE dress annnd….

WE FOUND IT!!!

I would have inserted a photo but ya know..Ryan kind of reads this blog. And he doesn’t want to see it before the big day. And I don’t want him to see it before the big day. Therefore, no pics. But know that it is gorgeous and perfect. I still haven’t officially bought it yet, but I will sooooon! Ah so crazy.

Besides that nothing else new going on. Besides missing internet and blogs and cable and Food Network and HGTV.

I’m gonna go cry now.

Looks Like I’ve Gone Missing

Well looks like I’ve gone and fell of the face of the earth!

Nope just kidding, I’m still here.

Last week was our first week in the house so it was spent organizing, de-cluttering and situating. Most everything now has a place but there are a few rooms that still need to be organized….

For now we will just ignore those rooms until…well we get fed up with looking at it.

 Still no cable (sniff) or internet (SOB) right now. We called to make an appointment in the middle of September and the first available date? November 4^th. We’ve been calling every other day to see if someone has cancelled but the only movement we got was being bumped to November 3^rd. Wah.

I’ll survive, I just really miss blogging, reading blogs, Twitter, Pinterest and just being able to check my e-mail at home. (Yep, still using a phone with no internet. They do exist people). I do have a lot of ideas for my blog and where I want it to go, so I suppose I am accomplishing tasks behind the scenes. I have so many ideas but now I need to make a plan to execute them. Off to try Zumba for the first time!

(P.S. I also realize I never posted my October goals. Seeing as I was moving & having no internet and it being October 11, it seems a little silly to post them now. They’ll be back for November!)

Moving Day

Guess what this past weekend was?!

MOVING WEEKEND!

*Insert happy dance here*

We are SO excited to move into our new house! Well, we are technically renting…but either way IT’S A HOUSE. With a yard! And 4 bedrooms! And 2 full bathrooms! And a gas stove!

It’s the little things people.

Anyways, we packed  all Friday night. I mean….all. Friday. night. It was a blast, lemme tell ya.

Not gonna lie, I’ve slacked in the packing department before Friday. I just felt like, well we can’t move anything anyways so why not just do it Friday? Major props to Ryan for picking up the slack on my end.

Pandora helped with packing…until we had to turn off the internet, wah.

Another down side to moving is we may not have internet/cable until November 4th. Psh. I can deal without cable but since home is the only place I check my e-mail (not able to at work and I’m in the ancient times and don’t have internet on my phone) so that will stink. Hence why I am currently sitting at a McDonalds stealing borrowing their internet.

Though we don’t really have much to decorate our house (I still consider us just starting out) I’m excited to start slowly decorating.

Pinterest has given me ideas out the wazoo so it will be hard deciding what I want each room to look like.

Time for me to head back to packing! Goals post up tomorrow, if I can get to internet!
