Welcome to my blog! The purpose of Brittney Breathing is to document my life through healthy living, dog owning and (for now) wedding planning! I have a lot of different interests so not every post will be food or fitness related, but will show how I live my life the best I can. I’m hoping to give you my take on recipes, workouts, traveling, restaurants (in various locations) and my life here in Milwaukee.
Key Players
Me!
Murphy (which goes by many names)
I also began training in January 2012 to become a Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I am excited about my journey & will share some of my insight along the way. If you have any questions or are interested in learning more about the program, please email me at brittneylhorn@gmail.com.

Murphy is so cute! What kind is he?
Part lab & part coonhound. He’s a handful that’s for sure!
I just read you guest post over on Carrots n’ Cake! I loved what you said about healthy living not having to be an ‘all or nothing’ situation. It sounds like you have a really healthy perspective of food. I think that trying your best to make healthy decisions and to not punish yourself when you eat a little (or a lot) too much is the healthiest way to live. It’s not easy all the time to not fall into the guilt but I agree that healthy living blogs are definitively a great way to gain a healthy perspective on food. I can’t wait to read more of your blog:)!
Thanks for commenting, Kylie! I’m glad others feel the same way about healthy living blogs as I do
Can’t wait to check out your blog!
Hey Brittney- Just had to comment that I, too, owe much of my health success to blogs. I also ended up enrolling in IIN… I’m done in June!
You will love it and learn so much, especially about yourself and your own body. Cheers to your journey!
